Can't remember how to do these problems to save my life..... Find the constant of variation for each direct variation. Then, find the value of y when x = 3/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 2 when x = 6

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

y = 2 when x = 6 and this is a direct variation so use the equation y = kx then plug in y = 2 and x = 6 2 = k(6) solve for k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, thanks. Then what do I do to plug in 3/4, what do I put for K?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

whatever you get for that k

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

k never changes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhh thanks, I get it

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

wonderful
