4x-5y+1 = 0 plot the relation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

keep y on left hand side and all other terms on righthand side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then plot y for various values of x

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

this will be a straight line with slope 4/5 when y = 0, x = -1/4 these 2 facts enable you to draw the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put any two values of x and get 2 values of y... join those two points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and our y-intercept is 1/5?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yes - or you can use vikrantg4's method - any 2 points will do - though to be really sure find 3 points - in case you make an error in calculation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx :)
