Did you mean to have it as \[5/\sqrt{3}\]
yes
ive totally forgotten how to work with square roots, im in algebra 2 doing a review, which i forgot everything over summer
Then you need to rationalize the function. You do this by multiplying the numerator and denominator by \[\sqrt{3}\] That will give you \[5\sqrt{3}\div (\sqrt{3}\times \sqrt{3})\] which will then simplify to \[(5\sqrt{3})\div3\]
im confused as to how you got the \[\sqrt{3}\] in the numerater

Let me teach. :)
\[\frac{5}{\sqrt3}\]This is to be solved.
We have to get rid of sqrt 3 in the denominator. For that, this is the first step.\[\frac{5}{\sqrt 3} \times \frac{\sqrt 3}{\sqrt3}\]
cross multiply then?
