do you know what happens when you multiply exponents together?
\[(2x^6)(3x^{1/2})\] you multiply them or just mash them together \[2*x^6*3*x^{1/2}\] rearrange it \[2*3*x^6*x^{1/2}\]

what part did you not understand?
(1)(2) is the same as 1*2 and 2x is the same as 2*x
ok so what am i doing how do i solve this problem
parenthesis next to each other means you multiply the 2 then i used communative property of multiplication to rearrange it because it doesnt matter in which order you multiply stuff then you multiply like terms so 2*3=?
