\(\LARGE{\color{red}{\cal{Tutorial}}}\) on Linear equation in two variables :)
Oh I love linear equations =) This should be good!!
*Linear equation in two variables: An equation in the form of \(ax+by+c+=0\) & \(ax+by+d=0\) , where a,b,c,d are real numbers & where \(a \neq 0\),\(b\neq 0\) & x/y are variables is called Linear equation in two variables. *Solution of a linear equation n two variables: Let \(ax+by+c=0\) be a linear equation in two variables where a,b,c re real numbers such that \(a\neq 0\),\(b\neq0\) then any pair of values of 'x' & 'y' which satisfies the equation \(ax+by+c=0\) is called a solution to the given equation *Methods of solving linear equation in two variables: (i) Graphical method (ii) Algebraic method * condition I If \({a_1 \over a_2} \neq {b_1 \over b_2}\) (i) This system has a unique solution & is called consistent system. * condition II If \({a_1 \over a_2} = {b_1 \over b_2} \neq {c_1 \over c_2}\) (i) the system has no common solution & system is called consistent. * condition III If \({a_1 \over a_2} = {b_1 \over b_2} = {c_1 \over c_2}\) (i) the system has infinite number of solutions & system is called dependent consistent.
when i clearly understood this chapter then i make notes & they are just behind u :)
Is there a time where a linear equation of two variables is inconsistent?
nobody taught me that thing , sorry :( only these above conditions are known to me :)
@UnkleRhaukus @lgbasallote @satellite73 @amistre64 have a look :)
I like it. A different way at looking system of equations.
thanx @RyanL. :)
Graphical ???? @jiteshmeghwal9
oops! graphical method is another way to represent linear equation in two variables
yes you showed that but not explained
means ???
Ok tell me that was your topic: "solving linear eqn in 2 variables" or " introduction to Linear eqn in 2 variables" ?
that's all what i have learn nt any step is left
its an introduction with the conditions of solving an equation of two variables :)
understood @mathslover ???
Oh k..
good one then :
thanx :)
this is good and an easier method at the introduction...but after having command on it i would suggest you to go through graph method , that would be more explanatory and visual ... :) by the way it's good
k ! but i had only told about graphical method not explained @ghazi :)
it's fine..may be, later they will explain you...
well thanx for suggestion & for comments :)
YW :)
