equation
thats correct :)
just don't write =0 polynomial is asked,not the equation
(x^2+16) would be the answer
@hartnn you cant have roots without = 0 o.O
^ yeah isn't that true?
@lgbasallote a ploynomial is asked! like f(x) is asked when u say roots of f(x) it is then u write f(x)=0 to find roots. but a ploynomial never has =0
well ok. i haven't learned this topic yet so @hartnn is more right than me. he's smarter than me.
what u are talking about is polynomial equation.
lol no one ever gets sarcasm. in these questions.. "polynomial" is implied to have = 0 take this for example http://www.chacha.com/question/write-a-polynomial-of-the-smallest-degree-with-roots-1,-%26%2345%3B3,-and-4
so for example: Write a polynomial of the smallest degree with roots 6, 3i, and -3i. r^1 = 6 r^2 = 3i r^3 = -3i (x - 6) (x - 3i) (x + 3i) and the answer would be X^3 – 6x^2 + 9x – 54 ? I don't need to the "= 0 " at the end?
add*
yes,u don't need =0
check that in the answer its written 4th degree polynomial 'function' and not just polynomial....
oh okay.
