What is the difference between an exergonic reaction and an endergonic reaction

It is a bit complicated. I recommend checking out an intro chemistry book or some sort of tutorial on the internet. In short, an exergonic reaction is one in which the change in Gibb's free energy is negative and an endergonic reaction is one in which the change in Gibb's free energy is positive.
