When sodium is excited in a flame, two ultraviolet spectral lines at (wave length symbol)=372.1 nm and (wave length symbol)=376.4 nm respectively are emitted. Which wavelength represents photons with a) high energy? b) longer wavelengths? c) higher frequencies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so you just use: E=h*f and c=f*lambda where f = frequency and lambda is wavelenght... it is well known fact that lower wavelenght have higher energy but ill leave it for you to calculate it...
