find the slope pf the line through each pair of points "show work" (2,-4) and (-3,-4)

OpenStudy (amorfide):

okay the slope of a line is known as the gradient there is a formula for finding the gradient of two sets of coordinates that is |dw:1348771677321:dw| so the coordinates you have are (2,-4) and (-3,-4) lets say that (2,-4) are our 1st set of coordinates (-3,-4) are our 2nd set of coordinates so the equations says y2-y1 that means the y coordinate from the second set of coordinates, take away the y coordinate from the first set of coordinates, then x2 is the x coordinate from the second set, x1 is x from the first set just substitute in the values, and that is the slope btw a standard coordinate is (x,y) first value is your x ordinate, second value is your y ordinate
