I need help completing this two-column proof: (I'll post a image of it on my next post for better understanding of what I'm asking...)

The point of this exercise is to get you to remember your algebraic properties.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As well as geometric properties.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Didn't you learn a list of theorems and postulates?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm just having trouble with 'B"''... would it be the transitive property? I know my properties, but I just need another opinion somtimes when I'm trying to find the right one... :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have to memorize them or you won't do well on the test. I'm sory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think B is the transitive property of equality.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this property states a=b and b=c means a=c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that all you needed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would ask your teacher though, it is a tricky one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it is... I'll probably just go with the transitive property though. For the next one "C', I think it's ... well I just need to look at it more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The substitution property I suppose?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ummmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't there some theorem for angles that add up to 180?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

obviously a line is 180 degrees, and when you cut it with another line, the two angles will add up to 180.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't it like the "Angle Sum Theorem"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It might be, I don't even remember that stuff.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess I could just put down that since they're supplementary angles, they equal 180 degrees...??
