I really would appreciat ehelp and ill give you a best answer! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the value of y when x=0 on the graph ?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

first put y = 0 and get the value of x. and match it in graph then put x = 0 in equation and get value of y and match it in graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im sorry but can you tell me what equation to plug tha into? match what with what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i know is im suppose to use y=mx+b and i think b is equal to 5

OpenStudy (lstrasmann):

yes, m is the slope. slope is \[\frac{ rise }{ run }\]so the slope is -4 then we have to find b. b is the y-intercept, or where it intersects with the vertical axis. in this case it is 5, so you have your equation\[y=-4x + 5\] so it is B \[4x+y=5\]

thanks for the help! :)

OpenStudy (lstrasmann):

sure thing.. anytime :D
