Given the table below, evaluate the following:
x -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 5
f(x) 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90
g(x) -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 -7 -8 -9
a. (3f+2g)(1)
b. (f o g)(-1)
***Two parts, Please explain! Thanks :) and i will attach the table as a pic in case its easier to see/understand :)

here is the table :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Hi! THanks for coming :) do u understand this? :)
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
I do,
(3f+2g)(1)
translates into
3f(1)+2g(1)
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
So you need to find both
f(1) and g(1)
using the table
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
then you triple f(1) then add this to double of g(1)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
you got it
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yay! so for part b (f o g)(-1) how do i do this again?? i always get mixed up when it is (f o g) or (g o f) yadiyadiyah :/
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
(f o g)(x) means
f(g(x))
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
so
(f o g)(-1)
becomes
f(g(-1))

so i need to find g(-1)? on the table?
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
yes, what is g(-1)?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
g(-1)= -3
??
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
good, so
f(g(-1))
then turns into
f(-3)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so i find what f(-3) is on the table??
so f(-3)= 10
???
so (f o g)(-1)=10
??
