i'm assuming the inequality is: \(\large 5x+2y \ge 45 \) if it is, then that's a very good example...... for the second part just give an example, # minutes running, # minutes jumping jacks that will satisfy the inequality.

OpenStudy (theeric):

That works! Just change you answer to part 1, as well!

OpenStudy (theeric):

"He needs to burn 45 or more calories."

OpenStudy (theeric):

You said the inequality was actually <=, right?

OpenStudy (theeric):

You want to keep your total calories burnt (5x+2y) less than 45, now.

OpenStudy (theeric):

Like,5 (5) + 2 (5) <= 45

OpenStudy (theeric):

I read you said "nevermind I forgot it was less thatn or equal to" Oh!!! Ok, then your first (x,y) was good! 10 and 13! You'll see that 5*5 + 2*5 = 35, which is less than 45. You want 5x+2y to be at least 45. 45, or greater.

OpenStudy (theeric):

Right! And he met his goal! :) Yay Joey! And congrats to you, you finished the problem.

OpenStudy (theeric):

My pleasure! You did all the work, haha.
