How do you solve something like this?

-2x - 3 ≥ 21

Same way you solve a normal equation, but if you multiply or divide by a negative number, you have to switch the direction of the inequality symbol.

add 3 to both sides = -2x ≥ 24 , now divide by -2 to isolate x , giving you x LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO (sign flips when dividing by negatives) -12
