Is it possible to construct a triangle with sides 1,2, and 3? If not explain why? Please help

A triangle's sides must satisfy these inequalities: |dw:1349636288492:dw| \(x + y > z\) \(x + z > y\) \(z + y > x\) Basically, this says that your triangle cannot have two sides that add up to the same length as a third. (This makes a line segment) or not even enough to add up to that line segment.

Yes, this cannot be a triangle. :) \(1 + 2 \not \gt 3\)
