It would be helpful to rewrite the equations into slope intercept form. Recall this is the form y=mx+b. Doing this will make it easier to identify the slope. Since from your picture we see both of these lines are angled downward from left to right, we know that the slop of these lines will be some negative number. This should help you eliminate a few possibilities right off the bat.

Be careful you, you lost a minus sign. An easy way to avoid this would be just add the y to the right, then add the 4 to the left. for y=3x+4.

y=3x+4 hasa positive slope so thats not it. Remember also, for slope intercept form, y=mx+b , b is the y intercept. This means, b is where the line crosses the y axis. In the graph, it looks like the lines cross at -8 and -4. Try looking closer at D.
