how would you sole this in slope intercept form y=-1/3x +3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you need to do to it? It's already in Slope-intercept form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is how it would look like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How to graph it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that's what he/she is asking cuz it is already in slope intercept form :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea now I see (: @Woodrow850 when you want to graph an equation, plot the y-intercept first. In this case you plot a point at +3. Then use slope (-1/3). Remember:\[\frac{ rise }{ run }\] So, from the point, go down 1 space(-1) and to the right 3 spaces.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plot that point, and you have your line. Or just use a graphing program. (:

Okay thankyou verymuch this is a great help!

No problem...I'm glad I could help! (:
