Substitute X=S+2 into (4/X)-X Simplify as much as possible

I cant figure out if its (-s^2-4s)/s+2 or positive (s^2+4s)/s+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

[4/(s+2)]-s+2 multiply by the conjugate=s-2 [4(s-2)/(s+2)]-(s+2)(s-2) 4s-8-(s^2-4s-4) s^2-8s-4 Don't quote me on this, I was never the best with conjugates. Also, you may be able to find s, but I have trouble with simplifying those too. Good luck!
