For the given cost function C(x)=250√(x)+(x^2)/274625 find a) The cost at the production level 1150 b) The average cost at the production level 1150 c) The marginal cost at the production level 1150 d) The production level that will minimize the average cost. e) The minimal average cost. I got the first two parts: (a)= 8478.49 (b)= 7.37

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can tell you d and e ones as its related to calculus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for d one differentiate the equation wrt x and put it to zero check the question you have typed once katie there should be a minus sign somewhere otherwise minimum cost will be at x = 0 only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no minus sign in the entire question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i m stumped :P only minimum will be at production level zero. After zero it will keep on increasing with the production level

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the question

hey survesh i got all of them but d. can you help please
