OpenStudy (anonymous):

perimeter = 2x + 2y where x and y are sides.. side 1 = x = 7/6x side 2 = y = 9y/6x 2(7/6x) + 2(9y/6x) = Perimeter 14/6x + 18y/6x = perimeter Since these have a common denominator we can just add them together.. (14 + 18y)/ 6x = perimeter the answers are in reduced form. we can divide everything by 2. (7 + 9y)/ 3x = Perimeter So, C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2(7/6x) + 2(9y/6x) 14/6x + 18y/6x + them and it's =========== 7+9y/3x
