2x + y = 10 How do I find three solutions for this? Is there a common formula I should use? I'm not sure if I should do 2x - 10 = y, or 2x + 10 = y, or 10 - 2x = y etc. and then substitute values from there.

these three equation do not have a common solution

What you do is select a value for "x", let's say you choose 1, then y would =8 so that one solution would be (1,8). If you select different value for x, then y would have a different value so you would have another solution.

Thanks.
