I NEED HELP! Select a counter-example that makes the conclusion false. You select three marbles from a bag and each of them is black. Conclusion: All the marbles in the bag are black. Counterexample:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so I know that the correct conclusion should be: Not all the marbles in the bag are black.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have choices for the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the conclusion is already given in the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that but it's part of question that makes it false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the counterexample would be something that proves that the conclusion is false for instance saying that all the marbles are a different color

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u saying that that "all the marbles are a different color" is a counterexample or is the correct conclusion?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

counterexample

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because the counterexample has to make the conclusion false and the conclusion is all the marbles are black

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) thanks

for example there is a white marble in the bag There are six marbles in the bag and three of them are purple, three of them are black.
