Can some one help me with my homework.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THis is the homework assingment i did some

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what about it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one is incorrect second correct 4 incorrect 5 incorrect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you there ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

third one over one step, down three steps means slope is \(-3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

iis the 5 question the third bullet ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first, y = ax + b b - y intersect (the point where the graph touches the y axis) a - slope how much y changes as x changes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.. 5 - third bullet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so i got 2 and 5 correct so far

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the first one .. does y changes at all ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is number 3 the first bullet ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uhm y doesnt change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Coolsector

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no . if 3 is the first bullet .. how come the second is also x = 4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right .. y doesnt change.. what is it's value ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what the equation that represents it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=-2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we said that y is -2 so why x=-2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also .. x = number -> is a vertical line y = number -> is a horizontal line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The first bullet ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the first bullet you see that y depends on x but we said that y is constant ! so no matter what x you chose y is always the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then wont it have to be the third bullet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-2 is the answer .. in the third bullet you see that y is again depends on x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you see no matter what the value of x you get always y=-2 you said yourself that y is always -2 .. so the equation is y=-2 and it's good to know that : x = number -> is a vertical line y = number -> is a horizontal line also, you could find the answer y = -2 by choosing two points and calculate the slope and then find the line equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the 2 question i put y=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why.. in the second i see x = 4 which is fine

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for number 2 the anwers will be X=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.. 1. y=-2 2. x = 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so in the third question it will be the 2 bullet right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in 4 the answer will be the second bullet again right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the 5 i think it's the 3 bullet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for your help...
