How many different three-digit numbers can you form using the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 without repetition?

This is a rather longs way of figuring it out. Let's start off with 1__ 123 124 125 126 127 132 134 135 136 137 142 143 145 146 147 152 153 154 156 157 162 163 164 165 167 172 173 174 175 176 30 combinations^ SO there should be 30 combinations for each of the 7 numbers. 30 * 7 = 210 combinations.
