help math question Quadrilateral F N R Sis congruent toquadrilateral G Y D A. Which angle is always congruent to angle D? answers are a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just need to find the corresponding angle in the other quadrilateral. They list the letter names in the right order... So... F N R S is congruent to G Y D A D corresponds to R

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so they just get listed in order

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1350256516724:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. My drawing isn't very good, but if those 2 shapes really were congruent, then the angle that corresponds to D on the right-side shape would be R on the left side shape.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But you don't have to draw it... they list it in order, so you just match them up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so how am i supost to answer them then i do under stand what you are saying but what does this mean <R

OpenStudy (anonymous):

<R is sometimes a way to type the symbol for angle, followed by the letter R. The normal computer keyboard doesn't have an angle symbol, so they just use the "<" as a shortcut.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so what am i post to answer this proplom? because i just looking for a way to answer it because i have more of that question and i cant stand looking throu the text books so i just need the formule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i can answer them all the same way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one doesn't have a formula. You just match them up, knowing they're in the same order. you have 4 choices, a <R b <a c <F or d <N and we already agreed the corresponding angle to angle D is angle R, so it appears the answer is choice (a), <R (meaning "angle R"). There's nothing else to it. Do you want to post another one, just to make sure you have it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

never mind thank you for the help

glad to help... good luck :)
