Soft question: Why are all mathematicians good physicists as well, and vice-versa?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because they know algebra and geomatry and you have to be precise in order to be a physicist :P

Parth (parthkohli):

I wish I could become a mathematician by knowing only algebra and geometry...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey I may be in college but math still h8es me :( so I'm pretty sure no matter how much geo. and alg. I know I'll never be a mathematician lol

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Because Mathematics is related to Physics; or you can say it the other way round. For instance, in Calculus you learn about Simple Harmonic Motion, Projectiles Motion, etc. That is related to Physics. There is also a quote by Richard Feynman that states it.

Parth (parthkohli):

Perfect.

Parth (parthkohli):

Thank you @mud116 @Mimi_x3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Humm......

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

What's wrong estudier?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I never said anything was wrong....:-)

Parth (parthkohli):

Another related question comes in my mind. May I ask?

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Well, not all Mathematicians are good at Physics, if you think about it; it depends on there degree if its Pure Mathematics or Applied Mathematics..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think someone once said that physics was too important to be left to the physicists....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But maybe you caould just as well substitute mathematics and mathematicians...:-)

Parth (parthkohli):

Thank you all for your time.
