Hi, I'm working on a problem about deriving the sum identity for the tangent ratio, and I'm a bit confused about the sign change. Please see the video at http://youtu.be/dCcelh6Jkng?t=3m15s . Around 3:15 the instructor writes a "+" sign in the denominator - why? If the original denominator was cosAcosB-sinAsinB, shouldn't the new one be 1-tanAtanB, not 1+tanAtanB? What am I missing here?
