Spanish verb help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I turned this assignment in to my teacher and she said I need to use the verb in the question, in my answers. Here are the questions: 1. ¿Cómo es tu dormitorio? ¿Está ordenado o desordenado? 2. ¿Prefieres barrer o pasar la aspiradora? 3. ¿Hay un lavaplatos en tu casa? ¿De qué color es el lavaplatos? 4. ¿Te gusta limpiar? ¿Limpias mucho? ¿Quién limpia tu casa? 5. ¿Dónde pones el detergente? 6. ¿Adónde fuiste ayer? 7. ¿Adónde fueron tú y tu familia durante el verano? And this is what I answered the first time: 1. Mi dormitorio está ordenado 2. Porsupuesto prefiero la aspiradora. 3. No tengo lavaplatos en mi casa todavia. 4. En vez de limpiar mucho, -- prefiero mantener la casa limpia. 5.El detergente esta en un cajon adonde guardo todos los quimicos. 6. Fui a comprar unos zapatos para mi que hace tiempo tanto esperaba y me siento mas contenta! 7. Mi familia que vive en otro lado del planeta pasa los veranos no tan lejos de la playa. Could you change my sentence up so that the verb from the question is in it? Thanks!

Some of your sentences are perfectly fine, because they already have the verb in them. I'll give you the corrected versions of the ones that can be corrected, and tell you what I changed. Kay? 2. Por supuesto prefiero pasar la aspiradora. *I separated the words, so that it says "Por supuesto." *I added the verb "pasar." 3. No hay un lavaplatos en mi casa. *I change "tengo" to "hay," because "hay" was the verb from the original question. 4. (Your original answer made sense. But I think your teacher wants you to directly answer the original questions. You can do that, right?) The questions were... ¿Te gusta limpiar? (Do you like to clean?) ¿Limpias mucho? (Do you clean a lot?) ¿Quién limpia tu casa? (Who cleans your house?) Just remember to use the verbs in each of your three answers: Gustar, Limpiar, and again, Limpiar. 5. Yo pongo el detergente en el cajon. * I used the verb "pongo," because "pones" was the verb in the original sentence. 7. (I understand that if your answer was true, then it's also true that your family lives far away, and that maybe you don't get to see them much.) In this case, you could make up a sentence about where you went with your family, using the verb "fuimos." (We went) Or, you could even say, "No fui a ningún lado con mi familia durante el verano," which means "I didn't go anywhere with my family during the summer." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm sorry if the new sentences that I gave you sound like more simplistic versions of your original answers. Because your original answers did make sense. But I understand that your teacher is probably only looking for the verbs in the questions to be in the answers.
