Write the sentences Margarita would say to indicate that she has completed each errand. Use the appropriate direct object pronouns (lo, los, la, las). Modelo sacar un libro de la biblioteca Lo saqué. echar una carta
Okay, so let's take a look at the example that was already done for us: "Sacar un libro de la biblioteca." (To take out a book from the library.) "Lo saqué." (I took it out.) There are three words in the whole sentence that matter: "Sacar un libro." The VERB is "sacar." The NOUN is "un libro." All we have to do is take the entire noun (un libro), and change it to to one word: "lo." We say "lo," because "un libro" is a SINGULAR, MASCULINE noun. You get it? Now, we take the verb (sacar), and change it to the past tense in Yo form: "saqué." Now, put them together! "Lo saqué." Easy, right? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's go through it now, with our next sentence: "Echar una carta." (To send a letter.) 1. Select the NOUN and VERB Noun: una carta Verb: echar 2. Change the NOUN to one word: "la." (We use "la" because "una carta" is a SINGULAR, FEMININE noun.) 3. Change the VERB to its past tense Yo form: "eché" 4. Put them together! "La eché." (I sent it.) Simple, right? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you still have any questions about this, or Spanish in general, please ask.
@InYourHead 's answer is very detailed :) I would just point out a couple of things... "un libro" and "una carta" are Direct Objects (the nouns are of course "libro" and "carta". Also, "echar una carta" is more like "to drop it" (usually in the mailbox) than "to send it".
Thank you so much I understand it more clearly
i am still confused
