Although my teacher taught us about this i still can't seem to grasp it. Any help is most appreciated no need to answer them all A fish tank measures 0.40m long, 0.20m wide and .30m high What is the mass of water, in grams that would fill the tank halfway? An astronaut in her spacesuit weighs 300lb on earth. What would her weight be on the moon? How many nanoseconds are there in one minute? A chemical reaction takes place at 20*C. What is the temperature in kelvins? A typical refrigerator keeps food at 20*C. What is this temperature in degrees Celsius?

A fish tank measures 0.40m long, 0.20m wide and .30m high What is the mass of water, in grams that would fill the tank halfway do you know how to find the total volume of the tank? once you know the volume you can use d=m/V where density = mass/ volume, you'd have to know that 1 cm^3 = 1mL and that the density of water is 1g/mL An astronaut in her spacesuit weighs 300lb on earth. What would her weight be on the moon? i don't know what the gravity on the moon is, but it's a pretty simple calculation since you're just taking the mass into account. look it up. How many nanoseconds are there in one minute? nano- means 10^-9 of whatever .. so 1 nanosecond =0.0000000001 seconds A chemical reaction takes place at 20*C. What is the temperature in kelvins? Kelvin is just a scale like celsius or farehnheit, although much much better. it's called the absolute scale and all chemistry and physics uses this scale. it's based on theory that if you cool a gas to absolute zero it will occupy no volume. 0 Kelvin = -273.15 celsius it's purely a conversion. 1 K = -272.15 ... 25 Celsius = 298.15 K A typical refrigerator keeps food at 20*C. What is this temperature in degrees Celsius? i think you mean farenheit if you wanna convert from F to C then Deduct 32, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9 IF you wanna convey from C to F Multiply by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32
