um just that 6 lb per day you are getting 6 lb and with 6 day per lb you get i lb so its a 5 lb difference

or If you wanted to calculate how many pounds you would need for a given number of days, you'd use pounds per day. If you wanted to calculate how long a given number of pounds would last, you'd use days per pound?
