Derivative of ((-1/6)e^(-3t)+(1/6))*u(t), where u(t) is the unit step function? #signals and systems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(e^-3t)/2 + dirac(t)/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just do the first part, seperately, and you know that the derivative of the unit step is just the dirac delta function. since integral of dirac delta = u(t)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait, nevermind. i misread the bounds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should just be e^-3t/2 then since when you derive 1/6 you get 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha okay thanks, just wanted to confirm :D
