OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

LGBARIDDLE: True or False (Why?) If 1 + 1 = 2 or 1 + 1 = 3 then 2 + 2 = 3 and 2 + 2 = 4

OpenStudy (hba):

LGBA LGBA LGBA :D

OpenStudy (hba):

So True :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

why?

OpenStudy (hba):

But One is Mathematical and the other is graphical :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

graphical?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i say false

OpenStudy (hba):

Yeah Playing with geometry :)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as the conclusion is false, but the premise is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't like the "and."

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hmm..yes that's a good point...but why do you say conclusion is false?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

is T and F = F?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i don't like this radom bumping of replies...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have a true premise, implying a false conclusion premise is true because it is an OR statement and one of the parts is true conclusion is false because it is an AND statement and one the parts is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

T and F = F T -> F = F

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes T and F is F

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

hmm good point

Parth (parthkohli):

\(T\implies F\) is always false.
