During the Kreb’s cycle, which of the following reactions does not take place? NAD+ captures energy to form NADH. Glucose converts directly to acetyl CoA. ADP bonds with a phosphate to form ATP. FADH takes on energy, forming FADH2. Acetyl CoA breaks down into carbon dioxide.

I know the first one takes place, and the third.. and the fourth..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at least I believe NAD+ captures energy to form NADPH...ADP bonds with a phosphate to form ATP... as the difference between them is a phosphate group. FADH takes on energy, forming FADH2 - if I'm not mistaken.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

its #2, glucose first breaks down into pyruvate then into acetyl coA (although there are intermediates, but they're the major "products")

OpenStudy (aaronq):

so yeah you were pretty much on track
