How to scale graphs of sine and cosine functions? I know how to find the amplitude and shifts. I need help understanding how to scale the graphs and where the period actually is. Please help, I'm confusing myself too much. ***Upon finding all the values, such as amp, the period and any shifts, how would I know how to graph the actual graph, and more importantly, to scale the horizontal axis?

Because you'll know exactly where the points should fall, you just need to think about how to label the steps at that point.
