Use the point-slope formula:\[y - y _{1} = m(x - x _{1})\] where your point is in the form (x1, y1) and m is the slope.

That's fine. You only need one point. You substitute for x1 and y1. y and x (without subscripts stay as x and y. This will give you an equation which you can put into slope-intercept form and you can graph from there. Or, you can go right to the graph by plotting the point given and going down 3 and over to the right 1 for a second point and then just draw a line throught the two points.
