Given that sin pie/6 = 1/2, use an equivalent trigonometric expression to show that cos= 1/2. I have no clue how to do this, can someone help me?

sin 30*=1/2
cos60*=1/2
u can see trignometric table for this and all for all values also

i dont understand.. can you do it step by step
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If cos x = 1/2
then x = cos^(-1) (1/2)
therefore, x = 60 degrees , 300 degrees {where x is greater than or equal to 0 and lesser than or equal to 360}
or pi/3 radians, 5pi/3 radians {where x is greater than or equal to 0 and lesser than or equal to 2pi}

okay.. so we do not need to use trigonometric identities?

is it ok?now or not?

i think its okay.. i basically just solve sinx and cosx?
