The question says to " Write the equation on the line shown in the graph below" Now that I know how to 'draw' on the post... If you respond, I can draw the graph out and you can help me figure out how 'write an equation/"
draw it out

That is tougher then it looks.. lol
I think the first thing I have to do is find the slope right?
Would that be -3,0
or would it be -2,0
@Bweezy5 I'm just watching you guys, if you need help, just ask :]
yea its X-axis: (0, -3) and Y-axis: (0, -2)
@campbell_st i think they want to work it our on they're own so you know
ok..can you find the slope of the line.... or the y- intercept...?
So, I think the slope is 3/5 and the Y intercept is..give me a second to figure it out
o,-2
is algebra 2? cuz if it is i cant help ALOT lol
well @ChristaB the slope would have to be negative for it's going in a downright position|dw:1352196407946:dw|
So... I came up with: Y= -3/5x-3
well you might want to look at the slope again rise/run you go down by 3, but then you only go to the right twice so
ooohhh it is like it i have the answer if you want it christaB just ask me i want to see if you can get tho
can I just make a suggeston based on the initial graph... the intercepts appear to be (-2, 0) and (0, -3) so you may want to look at the slope again
Hmmmm... I reworked it and this is what I came up with??? Y= -3/2 + 2
that slope is correct, but you had the Y-intercept right the first time :P
ummm you need to combine your new slope and old y-intercept
I am really confused
y = -3/2 + 2 <-- that slope is correct, but the y-intercept is wrong. Y= -3/5x - 3 <-- that slope is wrong, but the y-intercept is correct.
here are some clues |dw:1352186113510:dw|
