A liquid solution of α-cyclodextrine (αCD), water and 4-methylpyridine (4MP) turns from liquid to solid when heated to 45-75 degrees C. Apparently hydrogen bonds are the reason behind this effect.

This is not possible for a pure substance always in its stable thermodynamic state. But if you relax that requirement, it is a possibility for many substances. One obvious example is the cooking of a protein solution, mentioned above. Another is any thermoset polymer resin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermosetting_polymer
