OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

what's the equation for nCr and nPr? is there even a difference?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

n P r = (n!)/(n-r)! n C r = (n!)/(r!(n-r)!) ------------------------------- There is a difference because you can connect the two to say n C r = ( n P r )/( r! ) or n P r = ( r! ) * ( n C r )

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

hmm okay thank you!
