3x^2+8x-11=13

\[[-8 \pm \sqrt{352 } ] / 6\] Using the quadratic formula? I don't know. = |

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, you used the calculator? =]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3x^2 + 8x - 11 = 13 Add the 11 on both sides 3x^2 + 8x = 24

Squirrel02, but we have to solve the problem further, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, that's all I can remember at the time though. ^^;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, okay. When we solve it further using quadratic formula (because the factorization can't seem to work here), I think we'll get the equation I gave above. ~_~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah okay. Sounds good. :)
