\[5x^52y^{10}x^8\] 5 and 2 are coefficients (constants) they can be multiplied together. When you have two of the same unknowns and they are being multiplied you add their exponents. A good example is x^2. This is x^1 times x^1 or x^(1+1) Now you try to get the solution from that
