Can someone tell me it I worked this out correctly... The engine of a sports car rotates at 5000 revolutions per minute (rpm). Calculate the angular speed of the engine in radians per second. Use 2 radians = 1 revolution. 5000 rpm is 5000/60 = 83.3 revolutions per second 1 revolution is 2 * pi radians so 5000 rpm = 83.3 * 2 * pi = 523.6 radians/s
looks ok. but for some reason they defined 1 revolution= 2 radians NOT 2pi radians in this question (unless this is a typo).
The steps are correct whether or not you use 2 or 2pi though
Yes, that was a typo, I thought if I copied and pasted the question that sign would go with it, so yes it is suppose to say Use 2pi radians = 1 revolution
then looks good :) didn't think they would want you to use 2...it's always 2pi!
