Solve. sin^3x+sinx*sin2x-cos^3x=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You'll need a common angle between all the trig functions. what makes the most sense: x, 2x, or 3x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Probably x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's sin^3(x) not sin3x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\huge{\sin^3x+sinx*\sin2x - \cos^3x} ?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exactly. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You'll still have to break the sin2x into some combination of sinx with half angle identity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thought of that too, I'll try and see what happens. Thank you for the idea!
