I understand what the Pythagoran therom is. I am jsut not sure how to find it in this way. I know how to sue the formula, but ughhhh. I just need help on this part. I am not looking for the answer though, just how.
like I said, Pythagorean triplets remain constant if you multiply or divide.
so divide them all by 4
All of the options are larger than 12 and 16, so are the hypotenuse of the triangle. So square each of the options, and add together the squares of 12 and 16 and see which options match
