integrate : ( indefinite) 1 / sinx + secx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using 1/sinx + 1/cosx= cosx+sinx/sinx cosx then using sum and product rule sinx cosx =1/2 sin(2x)+sin(0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its 1/sinx + secx or 1/(sinx +secx)??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Integrate each term separately to get log(|cosec(x)-cotan(x)|+log(|tan(x)+sec(x)|) If we assume the log arguments are positive and using the fact that log(a)+log(b)=log(a*b) we can transform this into log(1/sin(x)-1/cos(x)/sin(x)-1/cos(x)+1) I have attached an .xps (microsoft format) file with more details

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/(sinx +secx)
