Okay one second let me post the questions.

for union A \(\cup\) B write down all the elements in A together will the elements from B. Then take out any duplicates. for intersection A \(\cap \) B look at each element in A. If that same element is in B, write it down as part of the answer. Do that for every element in A.
I dont even know how to do this at all.
example: A= {1,2,3} B= {1,3,5} A ∪ B = {1,2,3,1,3,5} but take out the duplicates A ∪ B ={\( {1,2,3,\cancel{1},\cancel{3},5} \)} A ∪ B = {1,2,3,5}
example example: A= {1,2,3} B= {1,3,5} A \(\cap\) B look at the elements in A: 1 is 1 in B? yes. Keep 1 2 is in A, is 2 in B? no 3 is in A, is 3 in B? yes keep it we get A \(\cap\) B ={1,3}
