HElp me Out? 1. What is the degree measure of angle A? __________ degrees http://www.flickr.com/photos/63839927@N04/8219196862/in/photostream/lightbox/ 2. What did you use to find the measure of angle A? (1 point) A. 60 + x + A = 180 B. 180 – 150 = A C. Interior angles are equal D. Vertical angles are equal Have to copy and paste the whole link.
i don't know...I can upload it somewhere else.
Thanks.
A should equal 60, intersection and all that
|dw:1353897846442:dw|
So your saying it equals 60 and number 2 is ???
I'd go with the interior angle answer,...if I remember correctly, it means the same thing as saying " opposit angles are equal"
that;s not right saw my error
vertical angles are equal
That's true^
meaning that A= 60 because it is an angle of intersecting lines, aka A=60 because they are vertical angles
Ohh..so did you just solve those equations then subtracted it?? I'm trying to understand I'm just not good with Geometry.
What I did was make an inference based off of vertical angle theorem. If there are two lines that intersect, then they will create four angles. Each angle has an opposing angle, vertical from its perspective. The two opposite or vertical angles are equal
Jazy seems to have a more current handle on geometry than me, so correct me if any of that is innacurate
Vertical angles are equal. ex: |dw:1353898300187:dw|
Nope. You're completely right @karama (:
^^^ I understand that with the pic..thanks guys. :))
you're welcome...let us know if you have any other questions! :)
Sure thing.
Can I have help with finding the degree of x? and Which of the following can you use to find the degree measure of angle x? 180 – (60 + A) = x 150 – 60 = x x = 60 + A x = 150 – 50 180 – 90 = x These are my last questions that I need help with.
The same triangle?
Yes.
let's see, it might be 90...because y=30, since 180-150=30...then 60+30=90...triangles must have angles that sum to 180...180-90=90
ohhh..Okay I understand that.
\[180=\alpha+\beta +\gamma\] each symbol represents an interior (meaning inside of) angle of a triangle
|dw:1353899048358:dw| as well, in case you need any reference for how I got the value of Y
Yeah.. I'm understanding it..Thanks again.
