Question: What is the difference between a contact force and a distance force? Answer: A contact force is when two object are in contact with each other. A distance force is when two object are not in contact with each other. Is this correct? 7th grade science flvs Please help! Thank you:D

Contact force is a force that occurs at the point of contact. I can't say I've heard the term "distance forces" before, but I would assume that it is the opposite of contact forces, an example of which would be gravity.
