When the terminal side is in the 2nd quadrant, you subtract the given angle from 180 degrees to get the reference angle. This gives a reference angle of 60 degrees in the 2nd quadrant. You know that the side opposite a 60 degree angle is \[\sqrt{3}\] so therefore the adjacent side has a value of 1 and the hypotenuse is 2. In the 2nd quadrant only sine and cosecant are positive. All others are negative. I am assuming you know the formulas for finding cos, sin, tan, cot etc. Cot is adjacent side/opposite side. In this case that is 1/square root of 3 and the value is negative here, so the answer is -1/square root of 3, or if you rationalize the denominator you would get -square root of 3/3. Hope this helps
